Boxwood 2011 Rose Release
On March 31, 2012, the stunning and eminently drinkable dry Boxwood Rose vintage of 2011 was released with events in all of The Tasting Room Wine Bars and in a joint event with Chef Mike Isabella's Graffiato in Washington DC. The heralded Rose release, just in time for Passover and Easter was a resounding success: 60 cases of Boxwood Rose were sold in the first week of release.
If you have not yet discovered this remarkable dry Rose crafted in the Provencal style, now is the time while it remains available. This wine enjoys a cult-following status with appreciation sure to grow this year with the whole-berry press of Malbec blend with Merlot and Cabernet Franc lending aromas of fresh apricot, strawberry, thyme, and star anise. It is, once again this year, an extraordinarily balanced wine of fresh complexities and long length.
Boxwood 2011 Rose, the finest of Virginia's dry Rose wines, is available at fine wine retailers throughout the Mid-Atlantic and through the Tasting Room Wine Bars of the metro Washington DC region.
